Carol`s Corner in Soutd Whitley

We pull into the parking lot , before we could honk the horn for service a young lady came out took our order. The food was good and tasty, you have to try the homemade root beer my son loves it. We were passing through I had finished some work up in Syracuse Ind , and a detour for road work led us past here. We will stop in again when we are up there in the neighborhood. 😋

Ice creme and drinks is all I buy here.

Love the chili cheese dogs and cherry coke! But they only take cash or checks, so be prepared for that.

Ordered food here, like I do every summer. Not bad, definitely a lot better than it used to be. The onion rings were a little less flavorful than I hoped, but good nonetheless!

I grew up at CC when I lived in Whitley. Now that I live in Charlotte, NC I always make it a point to take my boys to get some of the best I've cream in the Midwest. Thank you Carol for your years of service to a wonderful little community, and great memory's.If you're passing through, it's a definite spot to put on your list.

Nothing to spectacular, prices for the food are extremely high for what you don't get.

Shes got some good food but just stay clear of the lettuce.

Hotdogs were gritty....ice cream cones not very flavorful....and too expensive.

Carol's Corner; it has a nice 50's vibe with old music playing, families sitting at picnic tables enjoying anything from ice cream to pizza burgers! They have a small playground for the kids to play, which could buy you some time to take in their vast menu. My wife and I love this place and I'd highly suggest checking it out if you are passing through South Whitley.

The shakes are hit or miss. In my case it was a miss. The burgers are so-so. Cool little stop though just needs some improvements in product quality

A FAMILY TRADITION WHEN VISITING SOUTH WHITLEY!!!! CAROL'S CORNER has that "Good ol'Days" feel, with car hops serving you in your car, at a table, or you can order at the window!!!! Carol's Corner has ALWAYS had GREAT FOOD at a reasonable price, & AMAZING SERVICE from the staff as long as I can remember!!!!!

Really good ,I had a breaded cheeseburger,mushrooms. Recommend the drive there for good old drive-in food.

Absolutely wonderful Owner! I am a small time truck driver, They weren’t open yet because of the COVID-19, but they were getting ready to open tomorrow and the Owner let me get a Coke anyway!!! I WILL be back!!!

Cozy environment for good food. Homemade rootbeer is the best

The food is a bit plain, but the atmosphere is neat. Servers are always nice. Their rootbeer is worth trying. Seasonal shut-down is a bummer, but understandable.
